In 2019, a concept was born, which over time turned into our passion. We, Maxim and Alexandra, two lovebirds, immersed ourselves in the world of creativity, striving to make our home cosier. We decided to create our wooden world map to give our home a homely feel and to imagine ourselves travelling. We and our friends enjoyed the result enough that we decided to try making custom world maps. At the beginning it was just our hobby.

From the very beginning, Ranocchio Map has relied on the uncompromisingly high quality of its products - only top-quality birch plywood is used for our production. This ensures not only impeccable appearance and durability, but also environmental friendliness. 

Middle

From 2019 to 2021, our workshop was closely linked to the local market, where wooden world maps became a symbol of beauty. But time passed, and our dream began to spread beyond our hometown, when in 2021, customers from all over the world started to take an interest in us. There was a demand for customised orders. Many clients were not interested in just world maps, but wooden country maps as well. Realising that our creations were attracting active interest from different parts of the world, we decided to showcase our creations on the world stage. Opening a shop on Etsy in 2021 was the first step in this journey, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our story.

Thus began our journey from a family hobby to a family business filling our entire lives.

Present days

The end of 2023 saw over 2500 sales on Etsy and over 500 positive reviews from our customers. As we expanded our production, we opened another shop on Etsy, and in six months in the new shop we were able to make over 300 sales.

Since we've launched, our customers have come from all parts of the world (except Antarctica:) ) and from over 45 countries! And we are gradually expanding the geography of our orders.

Why are our wooden maps so popular?

They don't just decorate homes, they fulfil wishes, help to preserve the best moments in life. Travellers can use these maps to visualise the delights of different parts of the world. Lovers can plan the route of a future trip, and parents can give their children dreams. All this is possible due to the fact that wooden maps are not just a beautiful interior object, but a carrier of stories and the most cherished wishes embodied in wood.

We offer a unique decoration that brings incredible impressions: every time a person looks at the map, it seems to him that the whole world spreads out in front of him. This is especially valuable for families with children, who grow up feeling the limitless possibilities and realising that the world is open to them. This is the freedom that a child realises with the first touch of a tree.
